The 2010 USTFCCCA Convention will feature numerous complimentary social events for registered attendees, highlighted by the induction ceremony and dinner for the 2010 Class of the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame and the presentation of The Bowerman to be held on the evening of Wednesday, December 15.

Opening Session

The 2010 USTFCCCA Convention Opening Session will take place on Tuesday, December 14, at 11 a.m.

MONDO Barbecue

Mondo and the USTFCCCA invite all 2010 convention attendees to join us for a Texas Barbecue on Event Lawn 2, located outside the hotel's back patio on Tuesday, December 14th at 7:00 pm.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame dinner and induction will take place on Wednesday, December 15, in the Grand Oaks Ballroom.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is held each year at the USTFCCCA Convention to enshrine new members into the USTFCCCA Coaches Hall of Fame.

Started in 1995, the Hall of Fame recognizes coaches who have brought great distinction to themselves, to their institutions, and to the sports of cross country and track & field. Each honoree exemplifies the qualities of dedication to the sport, leadership, and passion for their profession that serve as an inspiration to coaches everywhere.

The Bowerman Presentation

The USTFCCCA will present The Bowerman to the nation's best male and female collegeiate track & field athlete from the 2010 seasons. This year's presentation will be held in the Cibolo Canyon Ballroom on Wednesday, December 15, at 7 p.m., and will be hosted by ESPN's John Anderson.

In 2009, Jenny Barringer (University of Colorado) and Galen Rupp (University of Oregon) were named the inaugural winners.

2009 USTFCCCA Golf Scramble

Show your skills on the links by entering the 2010 USTFCCCA Scramble Golf Tournament. Join other coaches and convention attendees at the TPC San Antonio golf course on Monday, December 13.

Space for this tournament is available on a first come, first serve basis and is limited to the first 120 registered players, so be sure to register for the convention and tournament early.

Tournament Prizes:

  • First, Second, Third, and Last Place Teams
  • Closest to the Hole Contests
  • Long Ball Contests

The $70.00 entry fee includes tournament entry, a shared cart and range balls. Players will be randomly drawn into foursomes.

TPC San Antonio is proud to be the newest addition to the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network of premier clubs. TPC San Antonio has 36 holes of golf designed by two of golf's most respected and innovative architects and World Golf Hall of Fame members, Pete Dye and Greg Norman.

Situated inside the 2,800 rolling acres of the Cibolo Canyons development at the base of the beautiful Texas Hill Country, both the AT&T Canyons Course, designed by Pete Dye and PGA TOUR Player Consultant Bruce Lietzke, and the AT&T Oaks Course designed by Greg Norman and PGA TOUR Player Consultant Sergio Garcia were built with the infrastructure to be host venues for PGA TOUR tournaments.
